Snow Pix

I just had to show you these snow pix my daughter took while out and about in our yard today. You can see the snow falling on loads of the pix and it's just too cool! Litterly! LOL

Oh and ALSO had to share this one of the cats! We have THREE of the critters and this is two of them. I bought this little wicker tower this fall for them at the thrift store for only 5.00. I really need to fix it before they tear it up because it's really neat for them to sleep in like this, which is WHY I bought it. BUT my daughter AND hubby says, you really don't believe two of them are going to get in there at the same time, do you? I really didn't, BUT seeing IS believing! LOL The top one is Snoop, and the second one is Lizzy.

AND yet ONE MORE blooming rose!!!! Can you believe this rose is STILL TRYING TO BLOOM?

You can see the birds were really feeding in the pix.

One day soon I am going to get a pic of that opossum that is eating our cats food every night. He sits there when you go outside and keep eating! But you let DH get close and he leaves the scene. That thing is HUGE from eating all that cat food!

dreaming of a WHITE CHRISTMAS the other day? WHATTT WAS I thinking? ;) It's slowly melting but man is it cold!!!

Buddy is still having a good day despite the snow and wet AND cold! He doesn't want to stay where we place him to potty though, because it's cold outside. He keeps coming back to us and we keep putting him back so he will potty. He's doing really good. We just have to keep an eagle eye on him AT ALL TIMES! He has kept us chuckling. See some pix and you'll see what I mean. He likes to sleep in DH's lap but when you put him in HIS bed (just until he's potty trained) he doesn't want to stay there and he pokes his head out instead of going to sleep and whines to come back to you. In ONE DAY, can you beleive he's spoiled ALREADY? ;)

Yes WE have SNOW! Believe it or not we DO have snow and I HAVE proof. ;) PLUS it is STILL SNOWING! And no I haven't built a snowman! lol It's bad enough having to take Buddy out there to potty. Man I didn't realize a puppy had to potty SO MUCH! LOL

The power has already went off one time but came right back on. Thank the Lord!!!! So I'm just praying it STAYS ON!!!! :)

Can you see the birds in the driveway? I went out there and threw them some birdseed awhile ago. So they should be happy campers.

OK let me get this posted because the lights are flickering! :(

Thank GOODNESS we DO HAVE a generator this time to use if we DO lose power though!

Quilt

Today while we were waiting to get some pecans cracked we decided to run and eat us something since we hadn't eaten and it was like 2 -0:clock, and then go to a place around here we like to shop. After we ate I was looking around in the store we went to, and I noticed a couple quilts on the bottom shelf. So I started checking them to see WHAT size they were because we don't have one for our king size bed and they were out of their package. We play tug of war every night because I am using one that fits a double bed on our king size bed. lol Well I tried and tried to see WHAT size this one was because it didn't have the size on the tag of it. I even tried to find a sheet or comforter with the size on it since this quilt only had inches and not the size. I had asked a couple that worked in there if this would be a quilt or comforter since someone beside me said it might be called a comforter. They told me it was a quilt. Then when I took it to the cash register to pay for it, the lady asked me what size it was and I told her I couldn't find a size on it. But was hoping it would fit my bed because I opened it up to see how wide it was and it looked wide and it filled up the counter there at the cash register. She didn't want to try and figure out what size it was so she only charged me for a twin or full size one which was only 15.00. The queen and king quilts were 25.00 and the comforters were 35.00. SO needless to say I was a happy camper and I have put it on the bed to see if it was big enough and it is!!!!! YES! It really IS beige but looks yellowish on these pix. The flowers are embroidered on it. I was thanking God for yet one more blessing as I was heading out the door with my quilt! :) This thing is nice! It came from J.C. Penney's.
Ignore my wall. I am STILL peeling paint. Hubby is half finished with sanding it down so we can start painting on the primmer and then paint.
